Our leather is from Wicket and Craig who have been producing superior leather since 1867. We use English Bridle Leather from the backside of the hide. a traditional leather that has many uses from classic equestrian gear to high-end leather goods. It is smooth, yet extremely durable. It takes ages to break in and become supple which adds to the longevity of our toe straps. Our competitors use belly leather which is inexpensive and flexible causing their straps to stretch and snap in no time.
All fixtures are made of solid brass from the buckles to the rivets, rest assured these buckles are built for abuse.
Our Toe Straps are finished on the sides to stop the weather from penetrating from the inside out, thus increasing the longevity exponentially for use on rainy days.
The ends of the straps are finished to an English Point which make threading the straps through toe clips and the buckles a breeze.
All of our leather goods are made by an Amish leather craftsman whose family has been well known for its leather equestrian goods for three generations –a real craftsman not a hobbyist/machine abroad.
With this said, we've made a higher quality product that will surpass your expectations.
